We meet in the historic town of Loreto (approximate
population 11,700) in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. This
town is approximately 600 miles south of the US border, on the Sea
of Cortez. Its international airport has daily service from Los Angeles.
Our tour leaves from Loreto, and for six days we explore the coast of the Sea of Cortez (also known as the Gulf of California). |
