July 18-25.09:
My sister and I had a unique opportunity to participate in this seven day sea kayaking tour. We were blessed with four women on the same tour with fantastic sense of humour and team spirit. That, matched with the skill and talent of both Morgan as our head guide and "chef par excellence" and Steve our second in command and literary orator.
Both guides were supportive and cared for our well being during this tour. Thanks to both Morgan and Steve.
What can I say about the food? Well, I have never had the confidence to try a souffle but Morgan did it on the camp stove. Can you imagine English scones for breakfast as well as a start of a day with Eggs Benedict? Yes we were all impressed and I might add, well fed! We loved every bit of it!
The tour included the Haida village and the old totem poles. We found this very interesting. In addition, we were so pleased to be able to experience the hot springs.
We were blessed with the best weather we could imagine. One day with the sea like glass and everything else working in our favour, we paddled 25 nautical miles. Even Morgan was impressed with what we accomplished. (and of course so were we).
So, as two novice sea kayakers, the two of us appreciated the guidance and care we received from all around us.
We both would highly recommend this tour and Pacific Rim Paddling to experienced as well as novice kayakers. It turned out to be a tour we will remember for a life time.

Hello Morgan and friends: Just wanted to report on the Queen Charlotte trip with the nine women last week. We were all so delighted with the skill, knowledge and firm guidance of Dusty and Dave. They were also very charming and helpful. We had a wonderful time, and the most extraordinary weather. Thanks so much for your excellent organization. Highest praise for Dave and Dusty
Bob and I congratulate you and your staff for a splendid experience. We returned this weekend from an incredible week of sea kayaking with Pacific Rim (Morgan and Dusty-were trip guides). The food was inspired -souffles to brownies and cheese cake! This experience totally changed my view of camp food. Organization of infrastructure - where we camp, food prep, pick-ups, camp set-up, packing, daily venue - was seamless reflecting years of experience and capability/commitment of your staff. I could not have wished for more or for better. We enjoyed our guides so much and the quality of Pacific Rim organization that we are considering a Baja trip for 2006.
I just wanted you to know the two trips this September were fabulous. Both Dusty and Derek did a great job with all of their decision making, sharing with the groups and of course the sumptuous meals they prepared. Wally and I particularly enjoyed getting on the water every day and the routes we took in both Barkley Sound and Clayoquot. Having been in both areas before and not getting some of the same opportunity to explore the outside of the island groups this trip was a plus. Tell the two men thanks again from me.
We have just returned from our kayak trip in the Queen Charlottes guided by Pacific Rim Paddling. The guides instilled total confidence and we always felt secure and well informed about the decisions they were making. The kayaks were superb and all the equipment was top quality. Food, now that is really the topic. We ate well; very, very well. Thanks again PRP, we would recommend this trip to anyone and everyone.
