TONGA LODGE-BASED TOUR

This winter we are adding an exciting new option to our slate of adventure tours. In addition to our regular camping style trips in the Vava’u archipelago of the Kingdom of Tonga, we offer you six days kayaking in the tropical South Seas paradise while spending your nights in comfortable accommodation at the beautiful Tongan Beach Resort.


	The Tongan Beach Resort is the put-in point for our regular Tongan tours. This waterfront vacation spot is a perfect destination for those wishing to get away from it all: a strand of fine coral sand, lush tropical foliage, great views, very comfortable rooms with hot showers, and an excellent dining room. After the first two days and nights at the Paradise Hotel in Neiafu, Vava’u’s capital town, where we’ll begin our tour with a day of orientation to the easygoing Tongan lifestyle, we’ll move out to the resort. Each day for the next six we will spend
exploring the islands of Vava’u, returning each late afternoon to the Tongan Beach Resort by high-speed Zodiac. This will give us plenty of opportunity to discover the wonders of the South Pacific, snorkeling the coral gardens, beachcombing the white sands, paddling over blue reefs, and relaxing under swaying coconut palms. Most breakfasts and dinners during these six days will be provided by the world-class chefs at the resort. Lunches will be picnics on the beach.

This is a perfect vacation for those wanting to experience the magic of kayaking the crystalline waters of Tonga without the discomforts of camping. In addition, non-paddlers wishing to accompany a paddler would be welcome; there are many activities available, including just kicking back and relaxing.

Price includes: 8 nights accommodation in Vava’u (2 at the Paradise Hotel, 6 at the Tongan Beach Resort, based on double occupancy), 6 days kayaking; most breakfasts and dinners at the Tongan Beach Resort during our 6 days there, picnic lunches while kayaking; land transport in Vava’u including airport transfers; kayaks and kayaking gear; Pacific Rim Paddling Company and Tongan guides.

Price does not include: meals at the Paradise Hotel or in Neiafu; air transport to Vava’u; travel or medical insurance, single supplements; snorkel gear.
