THE TWO WEEK OPTION IN THE CHARLOTTES
| WHY: We have been running trips in the Queen Charlottes for over a decade and firmly believe that it is well worth staying for an extra week if you have the time. Sea kayaking in the Charlottes is an experience that is more about feeling things than seeing things. Sorry if that sounds a bit airy-fairy. It seems to be the unanimous conclusion of the people who have come for two weeks that they spent the first week just letting go of their jobs, et cetera, before being able to tune in on the presence that surrounds you in the Charlottes. |

If you would like to talk to someone who has done two weeks in the Charlottes with us, please contact us for references. Our personal preference is to paddle south toward the wildness of Ninstints, as on June 25-July 9, but other people like the idea of paddling toward a warm bath at Hotsprings, as on July 9-23. Or start with a float through Dolomite Narrows, soak in the hotsprings, and finish up with a visit to Tanu July 16-29. Whichever you choose, you can't lose. The price for two weeks in the Charlottes varies depending on which weeks you pick, but we are able to offer a significant discount; contact us for details. Getting to the Queen Charlottes: Air Canada has regular service from Vancouver to Sandspit. If you have more time, the BC Ferries route through the Inside Passage and across Hecate Strait to the Queen Charlotte Islands is a relaxing and beautiful two day long trip. |
